A real portable test layout
This portable N-scale layout is used for RailKernel demonstrations. It shows how a geometrically designed track plan is connected to physical track, accessories, feedbacks and a command station. Visitors can see automatic operation, route selection, block protection, precise release and Free Driving working in practice.
The layout
A compact N-scale layout with a double oval, station tracks, sidings and a turntable. We use it to demonstrate RailKernel with real trains and YaMoRC hardware.
Technically operational
The layout is technically operational, including routing via the turntable. It still needs some tidying up and finishing touches.
