About Fleischmann

Jean Fleischmann founded the company in Nuremberg in 1887. It began with toys, including tin ships, before developing electric model railways. H0 joined the programme in 1952, while the piccolo range brought railway modelling to N scale. That smaller scale is now the focus, with older H0 models remaining an important part of the brand’s history.
